If bringing Rich Franklin in as a special guest wasn’t enough, Wild Bill’s fight Night 29 on Saturday, July 24 features one of the most talked about fights in Wild Bill’s and Georgia history as two fighters FINALLY step into the ring to do battle with each other!

The hatred between Will Kuhn (HardKnox MMA and X3 Sports) and Jeff Boudreaux (Roberto Traven BJJ) began years ago. They were scheduled to fight more than a year ago, but one fighter pulled out due to injury. Then the fight was on again, but off. Then the fight was on for the third time, but the entire event was cancelled.

Now for the fourth time…it’s KUHN VS BOUDREAUX….FINALLY!!!

The fight will take place on Saturday, July 24 at Wild Bill’s Fight Night as both fighters’ fans will be at a fever pitch for the fight. Kuhn enters the fight with a record of 5-3 including 3-1 this year over very tough competition. Boudreaux enters the fight at 2-1 and hasn’t fought in nearly a year-and-a-half.

Kuhn expects Boudreaux’s time off to effect him as he said, “My experience is gonna be a factor in the second or third round if it makes it that far.”

Boudreaux stated, “It’s gonna be the same as if I fought two weeks ago. It makes no difference.”

As to why the past fights were cancelled, they both have their reasons.

Boudreaux said, “He stubbed his toe, something happened, he didn’t wanna pick the right date. All types of excuses. It’s all in his head, he can figure it out.”

Kuhn replied by saying, “He’s definatley mistaken. I think that’s just another way for him to trash talk. He’s very delusional! I’m 3-1 this year. Against all tough opponents. He could have easily fought me any of those 4 times.”

As for how the smack talk began between the two fighters, Kuhn is not completely sure. He admits he pulled out of the first fight with an injury, someting that is common place in the fight game. But as of how the bad blood got started, he said, “I really don’t know! Lol. I think it started when I pulled out of our first fight with an injury. Then the shit talking began!! That’s the only fight I’ve ever pulled out of.”

Mixed in his 3-1 record this year is a fight that he took at the Combat Sports EXPO in April of this year versus Patrick Mandio. Kuhn lost his father the day of the weighins, but still went forward with the fight.

Kuhn added, “Emotions are gonna be very high for this fight. I’ve had like 30 text and phone calls asking me to beat Jeff from people that don’t like him. Everywhere I go people ask me about the fight. Also I’ve seen facebook postings asking him to “shut me up!” So people seem to want to see this fight.”

Boudreaux expressed his doubts that the fight will even happen, wondering if Kuhn will even show up.

“It’s only gonna happen when I’m in the ring and he shows his ass in the ring,” Boudreaux stated. “I’m training like it’s gonna happen. It was supposed to happen twice before and it hasn’t happened yet. So we’ll see what happens. Don’t be scared…just show up.”

Kuhn finished with, “If you like a good fight you have to see this one. He seems to hate me! And I’m not to happy with him right now. Cheer me or boo me I always have an exciting fight and put on a show!! See you there!!!!”

Wild Bill’s Fight Night closed out 2009 with a bang by promoting its yearly free show to benefit Toys For Tots. The promotion promised it would come out swinging in 2010 and that’s just the case as MMA’s Most Controversial Fighter, Junie “The Lunatik” Browning is set to headline on Friday, Feb 5.

Browning went from a Kentucky nobody to an MMA star literally overnight with the success of the UFC reality show The Ultimate Fighter. After the tv show, Browning went on to fight for the UFC prior to getting released from his contract due outside the cage activities.

Love him or hate him, in only his second fight outside of the UFC…Junie brings his antics to Wild Bill’s Fight Night on Friday, Feb 5!

Here’s an exclusive GeorgiaFighters.com interview with “The Lunatik”:

What do you know about your Feb 5 opponent, Aaron Hall? Have you had a chance to watch any videos of him?
I’ve had a chance to watch him on youtube. I think I’ve seen 3-4 of his fights online. He’s very thick and very very athletic. Probably the kind of guy that would be good at any sport.

He’s got good and quick hands, but I dont think he’s got much behind them. Most of the fights he had it looked like it was his opponents’ fault for getting hit. He’s got pretty good kicks.

Why did you take this fight? There must be tons of promoters looking to get you on their shows right now.
When I came to Wild Bill’s as a specail guest last year, the show was awesome and the promoters there treated me cool as fuck. And at this point in my career I have a lot of mental things to work on, so I’m not looking to get back onto a huge show. Just make some money to pay my bills, get some fights and improve myself mentally.

How do you plan on finishing Aaron? Do you look for the KO? The submission? Does it even matter to you?
It doesn’t make a difference. It doens’t matter if it goes to the ground or stays standing, i think i’m better than him everywhere.

This fight, the weekend of the Super Bowl, is like the Super Bowl fight for Aaron. If he beats you, his name is on the map. If you beat him, it really doesn’t mean that much. Is that any added pressure on you?
Nah, not at all whatsover. Fighting is fighting to me. It doesnt matter what show I’m fighting on or who I fight, a fight’s a fight. There’s no reason to say he’s not a good fighter, he’s a great fighter. It’s not all about the name; it’s about being discovered. He’s a great fighter, just hasn’t been discovered yet.

In only a couple years you went from a normal fighter in Kentucky, to a UFC star, and now to a fighter released from the UFC. What has the trip been like?
It’s been crazy. To be completely honesty it’s prolly been too quick for me to handle it correctly. I went from being the king of the losers in Kentucky to being a guy that can’t walk into Walmart without having to sign titties. I used to have to beg girls to go on dates and now I’ve got girls wanting to have threesomes with me.

This whole trouble with me at the hospital I think might have been a blessing in disguise as it forced me to calm down quite a bit. I think my second time around I’ll handle much better.

If you beat Aaron Hall, what’s next for you? Are you looking to get back into the UFC, or WEC or Strikeforce?
I don’t have any kind of big huge plans. I’m really just trying to get my head on straight. I still need to fight to make money. I’ll pretty much fight for everyone except the MMA Big Show cuz they’re a bunch of losers and the promoter’s a dick. I’m just training, working on my depression, working on my anger. I’m stil young and got plenty of time. I’ll be a good fighter, it’s just a matter of time for me.

Which gym are you currently training at in Vegas and how has it helped you as a fighter?
Tapout Training Center with Sean Tompkins. I’ts awesome. There’s some training partners there that are incredible. It’s really a dream scenario.

Your personality on the tv show made everyone hate you and think you’re a complete jerk. Is that the real Junie Browning?
I’d say you have to meet me to see what I’m really like. Everyone I’ve met and had time to be around has always enjoyed me. You just really need to take the time to meet me. The tv show didn’t really put me in the best light possible. 

Do you expect the crowd to be cheering for you or booing you? Do you even care?
I don’t really care, I could care less. As long as they’re entertained. To be honest, I expect everyone to boo me. When I was a special guest at Wild Bill’s everyone booed me. Now that I’m fighting a hometown guy I expect them to boo me just as much. I’m sure they’ll throw stuff at me, but I’m pretty good at catching. And half their girlfriends will probably wanna fuck me. But I brought it upon myself, so it doesn’t really bother me too much.

With only two weeks left till his fight with Junie, Aaron took time out of his training to speak with GeorgiaFighters:

Looking at the fight of you vs Junie Browning, a lot of people are thinking that you’ve just been brought in as an easy win for Junie. What do you say to that?  
I don’t see this being an easy fight for Junie at all.  From my first pro fight until now, I have fought nothing but game opponents. To me it’s just another day at the office.  I will definitely be stopping his plans to move forward.

Many people on the internet think the promoters are bringing Junie in for an easy win. You’re the hometown fighter. Is this going to be an easy win for Junie? 
Absolutely not, He is no different than anyone else that I have ever fought.  He shows me nothing that I haven’t seen before.

Because of his antics on the show The Ultimate Fighter, Junie is probably one of the most hated people in MMA. Did you watch the show? What do you think of Junie? 
Yeh I watched a little, didn’t really care for it to much.  After the first TUF, that show went to straight numbers, not talent.  He’s cocky, called his first submission, then just took the role of the villain. I don’t care too much for staged arguments.

For Junie this is just another fight. If he wins it he’s closer to being back in the UFC, Strikeforce, WEC or some bigger promotion on television. For you, is this the biggest fight that you’ve ever been in? 
He’s not the best I’ve ever fought, he just has a name that rings bells due to his appearance on TUF.  What has he accomplished outside of that?  Like I said, from my first pro fight, I have fought tough opponents, literally, from day one. He will not be the hardest I’ve ever seen.

What would beating Junie Browning mean to you? 
I would be out to show everyone what I can do and that I’m an exciting fighter to watch. Nothing special like I said.

Tell us about how training is going to prepare to fight Junie Browning.
Working hard. Working all points of my game.. Preparing for a short fight or a 3 rounder, it doesn’t matter to me, I got gas in the tank. Cole Miller, Bubby Mitchell, and Bryan Goldsby have been working endlessly to get this game plan on point.  If he wants to keep it standing, so be it. I’ll be prepared for wherever the fight goes.

Are you looking to submit Junie early, or will you be looking to hurt him more than you would a different opponent? 
If I catch him early, I’ll put him away. I will waste no time executing what I am in there to do.  Junie Browning or not, he slips, I will catch him and he will fall. 

What holes do you see in Junie’s game? 
The holes I will put in his game.  He will have to adapt to me and me only. 

How do you see this fight going? 
I see him having a hard time keeping up with my pace and explosiveness.  Hope he has wind.  Otherwise, Ill be having a blast like I always do.
