Fight Night: Is It Art?

Martial artists jockey for position in the 205-pound “mixed martial arts” bout during Wild Bill’s Fight Night. Billed as “No Holds Barred,” the 12 fights on the card involved a blur of punching, kicking, blood, sweat and stone-cold knockouts. In spite of all the macho strutting, there were moments in many fights where it simply looked like boys were wrapped up with other boys. It’s something that would make Robert Mapplethorpe, or even Larry Clark, proud.
