Aaron Hall Speaks About His Fight With Junie Browning!

Aaron Hall, from RUSH MMA in Macon, has had eight weeks to train for the fight of his life – a Friday, Feb 5 matchup vs Junie Browning in the main event of Wild Bill’s Fight Night!

In only two weeks he’ll have 2,500 people cheering him on as he fights possibly the most controversial and most hated man in MMA – Junie “The Lunatik” Browning.

With only two weeks left till his fight with Junie, Aaron took time out of his training to speak with GeorgiaFighters:

Looking at the fight of you vs Junie Browning, a lot of people are thinking that you’ve just been brought in as an easy win for Junie. What do you say to that?  
I don’t see this being an easy fight for Junie at all.  From my first pro fight until now, I have fought nothing but game opponents. To me it’s just another day at the office.  I will definitely be stopping his plans to move forward.

Many people on the internet think the promoters are bringing Junie in for an easy win. You’re the hometown fighter. Is this going to be an easy win for Junie? 
Absolutely not, He is no different than anyone else that I have ever fought.  He shows me nothing that I haven’t seen before.

Because of his antics on the show The Ultimate Fighter, Junie is probably one of the most hated people in MMA. Did you watch the show? What do you think of Junie? 
Yeh I watched a little, didn’t really care for it to much.  After the first TUF, that show went to straight numbers, not talent.  He’s cocky, called his first submission, then just took the role of the villain. I don’t care too much for staged arguments.

For Junie this is just another fight. If he wins it he’s closer to being back in the UFC, Strikeforce, WEC or some bigger promotion on television. For you, is this the biggest fight that you’ve ever been in? 
He’s not the best I’ve ever fought, he just has a name that rings bells due to his appearance on TUF.  What has he accomplished outside of that?  Like I said, from my first pro fight, I have fought tough opponents, literally, from day one. He will not be the hardest I’ve ever seen.

What would beating Junie Browning mean to you? 
I would be out to show everyone what I can do and that I’m an exciting fighter to watch. Nothing special like I said.

Tell us about how training is going to prepare to fight Junie Browning.
Working hard. Working all points of my game.. Preparing for a short fight or a 3 rounder, it doesn’t matter to me, I got gas in the tank. Cole Miller, Bubby Mitchell, and Bryan Goldsby have been working endlessly to get this game plan on point.  If he wants to keep it standing, so be it. I’ll be prepared for wherever the fight goes.

Are you looking to submit Junie early, or will you be looking to hurt him more than you would a different opponent? 
If I catch him early, I’ll put him away. I will waste no time executing what I am in there to do.  Junie Browning or not, he slips, I will catch him and he will fall. 

What holes do you see in Junie’s game? 
The holes I will put in his game.  He will have to adapt to me and me only. 

How do you see this fight going? 
I see him having a hard time keeping up with my pace and explosiveness.  Hope he has wind.  Otherwise, Ill be having a blast like I always do.
