Company Info
Undisputed Productions, LLC was formed in 2002 by David Oblas.
Since 2002, Undisputed Productions has promoted more than 60 professional fight nights in Atlanta, more than any other Atlanta fight promoter. Nearly every event has been a sellout whether they have been held at the Roxy, Earthlink Live, the Tabernacle or Wild Bill’s.
Oblas’ big break came in 2006 when he received a call from Steve Mudder and Amy Lynn of Full Throttle Entertainment. The call was to join them in co-promoting MMA shows at Wild Bill’s, America’s largest country dance hall. What has followed has been nearly four years of putting on terrific fight nights to crowds of more than 3,000 people per show! The event is appropriately titled “Wild Bill’s Fight Night”.
In 2008 and 2009, Undisputed Productions and Full Throttle Entertainment combined to promote a completely free event to benefit Toys For Tots. The event took place in December of both years and was completely free to anyone donating a new toy for the charity. Both events had more than 3,500 new toys donated to Toys For Tots making the event one of Toys For Tots’ Top 10 Single Day Toy Drives!
Wild Bill’s Fight Night is the only fight promotions company in Atlanta that regularly mixes in a combination of boxing, MMAand muay thai fighting in the same evening.
The list of fighters that have fought for Undisputed Productions and Wild Bill’s Fight Night reads like a Who’s Who of Atlanta fighters: O’Neil Bell, Ebo Elder, Cedric Boswell, Kevin Gittemeier, James Thorpe, Tom Nguyen, Nina Ahlin, Xavier Tolliver, Cliff Fretwell, Bernard Rutherford, Philip Botha, Paul Delgado, Tony Davis, Lawrence Chapman, Junior Assuncao, Raphael Assuncao, Rory Singer, Dave Mewborn, Cale Yarbrough, Marcus Davis, Junie Browning and the list goes on and on.
Faces in the crowd at Undisputed Productions’ fight nights have often included Evander Holyfield, Robert Allen, Vernon Forrest, Emmanuel Lewis, Forrest Griffin, Robert Edwards, Takeo Spikes, Hines Ward, Cuba Gooding Jr, Wanderlei Silva, Otis Nixon and many more.
Wild Bill’s Fight Night has established itself as the top fight promotions company for several reasons. The cards are always filled with the best talent and the most evenly matched fights. The events have been covered by more media than any other fight promotions company and Undisputed Productions is the only local fight promotions company to bring national television to Atlanta when in July of 2004 ESPN2 broadcasted live from the Tabernacle in downtown Atlanta.
In April of 2009, Oblas promoted a Kyle Maynard fight in Auburn, AL that received worldwide attention. Maynard’s fight marked the first time that a quad-amputee had ever fought in an MMA match. The event was featured on ESPN, CNN, USA Today and many other news outlets. Oblas and Maynard still remain very good friends.
David Oblas grew up in Roswell and attended Chattahoochee High School (graduated 1994) and later Auburn University (graduated 1998).
