In an impressive showing by Undisputed Productions as well as the fighters in the ring, Atlanta played host to a great night of action filled boxing at the Tabernacle Theatre and on ESPN2's Friday Night Fights. In front of a sell-out crowd, lightweight contender Ebo "The X-treme Machine" Elder (20-1-0-12kos) thrilled all in attendance my scoring a unanimous decision over tough Mexican brawler Fernando Trejo (23-8-4 15kos). Using lightning quick combinations Elder was able to score early and build a solid lead against Trejo who fought strong until the end. The loud, pro Elder crowd apparently influenced the judges enough to award a decision much too lopsided. Although it did appear that Elder did do enough to win two of the three judges gave every round to Elder leaving the Trejo corner, and true hardcore fans in disbelief. Shortly after the decision was announced Elder grabbed the microphone to graciously give thanks to the crowd. He also asked that the crowd to acknowledge Trejo for being such a great fighter, and showing true sportsmanship.

After the fight Elder told Fightnews.com "I told you that would be the toughest fight of my life", and later said "he is the toughest fighter I have ever faced....he was relentless".

In the co-main event highly touted Yusef Mack (17-0-2-10) stepped up his competition by taking on true veteran Donnell Wiggins (21-5-2 12kos) in a light-heavy weight clash. Both fighters came-out feeling each other out in round one as Mack was able to win the round by landing a solid right hand as Wiggins struggled to counter. Mack was able to create his own offence as he dictated the pace. In round two Mack came out and after a few exchanges landed a huge right hand that sent Wiggins to the canvas for the night. Mack wins with-in 44 seconds of round two.

Atlanta fighter Troylon Wilson (6-0-1 1ko) was able to score a third round TKO over Rodney Freeman (5-2-0 3kos). In the first round both fighters appeared to be cautious as the more aggressive Freeman pressed the action as Wilson tried to time him coming in to counter on the inside. As round two began Wilson began to put some punches together and in the closing seconds landed a perfect right hand that dropped Freeman. Referee James Korb watched closely as Freeman was able to get to his feet by the count of 8 to conclude the round. As Freeman's corner took a close look at their fighter they determined he was unfit to continue and asked that the fight be stopped.

In other action Calvin Dixon (1-0-0) took on Brian Norman (4-1-0 3kos) as two of Georgia's hopefuls looked to put on a good show in front of their home town crowd. The first round began with Norman attempting to land hard blows as Dixon seemed content to block and counter the attack. In the closing seconds of the round the two combatants stepped toward each and clashed heads viciously. Norman suffered a huge gash over his left eye. The fight was stopped by referee George Chip with the consultation of the ring doctor. The fight was declared a no contest.

Tom Nguyen (3-0 1ko) was able to KO Anthony Henry (0-2) with-in 30 seconds of round one as Henry appeared to be content with making it an early night. Phillip Botha scored a third round TKO over Jeremy Mickelson as the two raw fighters threw wildly for most of the fight. Botha wins his debut as Mickelson drops to 3-8-0 2kos.

Tyrese Hendrix (1-0-0) scored a unanimous four round decision over formerly undefeated Jovan Jones who dropped to 3-1-0 3kos.
